Accommodation
The standard of hotels in Iceland is generally very good. The hotels are clean and regularly renovated. Breakfast is included in price unless otherwise stated. Breakfast consists of a typical Scandinavian breakfast buffet. There are no 5* hotels in Iceland and the hotels that Iceland ProTravel offers in the golf packages are 3*+ or 4*.
Accomodation in summerhouses is also available for our golfers. We offer luxury country cottages, with electricity, hot/cold water, outdoor hot tubs, quality beds and bed linen, all necessary kitchenaries, TV and outdoor gas grill. See picture gallery.
Eating and drinking
Generally the standard of food in Icelandic restaurants is very good. The Icelandic specialties are tender lamb and fresh fish in all variations. Apart from these you can find something for every taste, whether it is Indian, French, Mexican, Italian or … or… or… With each meal fresh water is served for free. Soft drinks, beer and a big variety of wines is served upon request.
