Details of trip
DAY 1:
Scheduled arrival at Keflavík International Airport. Pick up your rental car and drive to Reykjavík where you will spend the four nights at a four-star Reykjavík hotel.
DAY 2:
The course at Oddur Golf Club was inaugurated in August 1997 and is now considered one of the finest golf courses in Iceland located in beautiful surroundings in the immediate vicinity of the greater area of Urridavatnsdalir, about a 20-minute drive from downtown Reykjavik. The golf course is surrounded by lava. It is an exhilarating experience to play golf in the midst of nesting moor birds and enjoy their singing, far away from the city’s noise and hustle.
DAY 3:
Keilir golf course, 20 minutes from Reykjavík, is a links golf course situated by the seaside. There is a vast difference between the front nine and the back nine. The front nine are surrounded by lava while the back nine are placed on a small peninsula at the entrance into the Hafnafjördur harbor with a spectacular view to the Alftanes peninsula and the famous Snaefellsjokull glacier. Keilir golf course is more about skill and accuracy than power and distance, particularly the front nine in the lava field.
DAY 4:
Kidjaberg golf course is located in south Iceland about 1 hour from Reykjavík by car. The course is set in a picturesque landscape between the river Hvitá and lake Hestvatn. The fairways are situated by the river Hvitá, and the course is renowned for its beautiful and interesting surroundings.
DAY 5:
Depart from Keflavik International Airport. Return rental car at airport.
